  Peter Isaacson
Vice President, Worldwide Education, Adobe Systems

Peter Isaacson is the Vice President of Worldwide Education for Adobe Systems. Isaacson oversees a team of business and marketing professionals focusing on K-12 and Higher Education, as well as curriculum, certification and professional development. 

In his previous role as Vice President of Worldwide Field Marking, Isaacson managed a team of over 175 marketing professionals with personnel in Japan, Europe, North America, Australia and Asia. In this role, he was responsible for driving all customer outreach activities in the field for Adobe worldwide. He has also served as the Senior Director for Worldwide Brand Marketing at Adobe, with responsibilities spanning brand positioning, advertising and packaging design. 

Prior to Adobe, Isaacson held a Vice President position with Ammirati Puris Lintas, managing advertising and brand positioning accounts for clients such as Compaq in the enterprise, desktop, networking, portable and consumer segments, and Chesebrough Pond’s for its Brut and Mentadent products. Isaacson also spent more than four years with Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, handling strategic accounts for Proctor & Gamble on such products as Spic & Span, Camay, Ivory Bar, Tide, Liquid Ivory, Comet, and Top Job.

Isaacson holds a B.S. Degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He enjoys travel and a variety of sports, including basketball, mountain biking, and golf.
     
   
 
  John Treloar
Education Director, Asia Pacific, Adobe Systems
 
In the role of Education Director, Asia Pacific, Mr Treloar’s key responsibilities include major whole of country and state-wide educational training, curriculum and software programs, Tertiary Institution Site Licenses and development of a common, manageable Education offering across the Adobe APAC Region.
Mr Treloar brings to the position a strong background in the Information Technology industry, including substantial experience and expertise in local management and marketing for an international technology vendor.

Mr Treloar has additionally held several senior roles with Microsoft in Australia, including Corporate Marketing Director, Regional Marketing Manager, as well as Education Sales and Marketing Manager. Two years spent in Paris as Microsoft's European Business Development Manager was a real highlight of Mr Treloar’s career and added even more to his already broad skill set.
His tertiary education was at Charles Sturt University, Deakin University and Riverina College of Advanced Education. Mr Treloar holds a Bachelor of Education and a Graduate Diploma in Computer Education.
Mr Treloar is based in Sydney. Along with his family and friends, Mr Treloar has a passion for wooden boats, French cars and Papua New Guinea.
     
   
 
    John D'Arcy
Learning and Teaching Technology Coordinator, Canadian International School of Hong Kong

Having taught digital arts and communications technology courses for 20 years, John D'Arcy is now responsible for the integration of technology into classrooms K-12 at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. John's Master's of Education Degree was focused on computer integration. An avid photographer, John's photographs of his South East Asia travels can be found on Flickr.
     
   
 
    Melvin Goh
Academic Staff, School of ICT, Republic Polytechnic

Melvin worked primarily with Adobe Flash to create interactive experiences, dynamic web applications, computer generated art and multi-touch interfaces in his career as a designer. Most unusually for an educator, he has been using Flash as a tool to teach and engage students in the fundamentals of programming for the last 5 years, with highly encouraging results.
     
   
 
     
   
 
    Patricia Lim
Assistant Manager, School of Interactive and Digital Media, Nanyang Polytechnic

Patricia is a designer and educator whose work continually explores the possibilities of interactive experiential design between traditional and new media. She is currently experimenting with creating experiences for tangible media. She encourages her students to play and experiment with the whole palette of Adobe tools to design interesting interactive solutions.
     
   
 
    Aaron Metz
Communications Technology Teacher, Learning and Teaching Technology Convenor
Canadian International School of Hong Kong

Aaron Metz is a New Zealander with a passion for bringing creative ideas to life. He currently teaches courses in 'Communications Technology' at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. He facilitates the design and production of electronic, live, recorded, and graphic communications. When not teaching and learning with technology, Aaron is a keen outdoor enthusiast. A certified mountaineer and scuba diver, he has summited several 5000m + peaks in the Himalayas and captured stunning underwater images of the coral reefs throughout Asia.
     
   
 
  James Pearson
Former Student, Chatswood High, NSW, Australia

Having just completed his final year of High School, James Pearson, 18, is continuing to follow his passion for animation and graphics. He is now studying 3D Animation and Design at Enmore Design Centre in Sydney, Australia. Besides having his Year 12 major work for Multimedia included in the ‘best in state’ exhibition, he has also won the national youth week award for graphic design. When not on his computer, he is drawing, watching movies or playing basketball. James created Goldilocks as his major project during his Computer and Multimedia Course at Chatswood High School, a New South Wales government school in Sydney. Chatswood High has a deserved reputation for excellence in Digital media and Multimedia education and is also for its Music programs.
     
   
 
  Bob Regan
Director, K12 Education, Adobe Systems

Bob Regan is the Director of Worldwide Primary and Secondary Education at Adobe Systems in San Jose, California. In that role, Bob leads the programs and strategies for making Adobe products available to schools worldwide. These activities include product development, sales and marketing programs and thought leadership.

A former classroom teacher and school technology coordinator, Bob has a Masters in Elementary Education from Columbia University Teachers College. Bob joined Macromedia as the product manager for accessibility to launch Macromedia's accessibility effort. Bob has pioneered techniques in accessible rich media, and actively helped shape standards around disability around the world. Over time, Bob's responsibilities grew to include technical efforts and product development for education and government.
     
   
 
     
   
 
   

Philip Roy
E-Learning Facilitator, Massey University, New Zealand

Philip Roy is an E-Learning Facilitator at Massey University, New Zealand. With a background in education (having taught in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom), Philip holds a Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and is currently completing his Master of Education in Online and Distance Education. In 2004 he was appointed as one of 15 inaugural Flexible Learning Leaders in New Zealand, with his research focusing on web-based video conferencing.

Philip is also an avid Macintosh user, having previously written the multimedia section of New Zealand’s only Macintosh magazine and established, owns and operates New Zealand’s largest Macintosh website.

     
   
 
  John Schuman
Education Solutions Architect, Adobe Systems

John Schuman currently holds the title of Senior Worldwide Evangelist for Adobe Systems Inc. John has almost twenty years of experience in the field of digital imaging with over ten of those years focused primarily on web design and graphic technology. John joined Macromedia in 1998 following several years of digital imaging production experience in the San Francisco Bay Area and subsequently served as regional Solutions Engineer for Macromedia in Singapore from 1999 to 2001 where he spoke to thousands of Web professionals across the Asia/Pacific region at seminars and industry events.

Upon returning to the U.S. in 2001, he took the role of Senior Education Solutions Engineer, focusing primarily on Higher Education in the North American region. John currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

     
   
 
  Megan Stewart
Director, Worldwide Higher Education, Adobe Systems

As Director of Adobe Worldwide School Division, Megan Stewart is responsible for developing solutions to help educators around the world successfully integrate Adobe products into their classrooms and across their schools. With 12 years of experience in creating and delivering educational technology programs, she seeks to support the use of technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience and the development of 21st Century skills.

Previous to joining Adobe, she was the Senior Director of Worldwide School Solutions for Macromedia. She joined Macromedia in 2001 to help develop the education strategy and solutions to support the use of web and multimedia tools in primary and secondary schools. Upon the announcement of the acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe, she worked closely with the Adobe education group to integrate the solutions from both companies into a worldwide business focusing on the needs of schools. Prior to Macromedia, she was the Director of Marketing for The Learning Company.

     
   
 
  Assoc. Prof Daniel Tan
Director - Centre for Educational Development, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Dr Daniel Tan is currently the Director/Centre for Educational Development and Associate Professor/School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University. He obtained his BSc from University of Aston, Birmingham, England. He subsequently achieved a PhD from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and a post-graduate Diploma in Teaching in Higher Education from the Nanyang Technological University. His research interests cover Internet and computer security; human factors and usability. He is involved in several projects on information warfare, encryption, authentication, intrusion detection systems and usability.

Assoc Prof Tan, as Director of the Centre for Educational Development at the Nanyang Technological University, led a team to develop and implement an eLearning campus eco-system. This environment, comprising a holistic approach towards system design, learning platform, server architecture, coupled with edUtorium - the staff development program and pedagogical design has resulted in a high immersive and adoption rate, by both staff and students.

Through this innovative eLearning initiative, the University has won recognition by being a winner of the Intelligent20 Award 2003, Honouree of CIO Asia100 Award 2004, EMC Best Practice Award 2004, National Health Group Distinguished Contributor Award 2005, ZDNet Asia Smart50 Award 2006, and SiTF eLearning Organization of the Year 2006. Assoc Prof Tan was also conferred The Public Administration Medal (Silver) at the Singapore National Day Awards 2007 for his outstanding contributions to advancing the quality of educational development, instructional and media support services, student learning and professional teaching in the University as well as the educational community in the nation.
     
   
 
 

Rick Toh
Lecturer, Diploma in Interactive Media Informatics, Temasek Informatics & IT School, Temasek Polytechnic

Rick Toh has been an avid IT educator for over eight years. He majors in web development and interactive design. His expertise field grants him the opportunity to experiment and teach Adobe Flash, ActionScript and most recently Flex on a daily basis. He is constantly involved in leading or advising teams working on interactive media projects for government and commercial agencies. Rick is currently an interactive media lecturer in Temasek Informatics & IT School, Singapore.

     
   
 
 

Associate Professor Tsong-Zen Liu
Director of Computer Center, National Kaohsiung Hospitality College (NKHC)

Dr Tsong-Zen Liu is currently the Director/Computer Center and Associate Professor/Department of Food and Beverage Management at the National Kaohsiung Hospitality College. He obtained his BSc from Department of Power Mechanical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan R.O.C. at 1987. Subsequently, he achieved his MSc and PhD from Institute of Mechanical Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan R.O.C. at 1992 and 1997 respectively. His research interests cover automatic control and neural network, hospitality information system analysis, E-Commerce applications, e-Learning content development, digital archive. He has been a faculty of National Kaohsiung Hospitality College for 11 years.

During his faculty period, he used to be the director of library for 4 years and change the school library into a new and open style. Now, he is director of computer center from 2007 and involved in several multi-year school-scale projects on teaching and learning excellent in campus, hospitality technology research center which are granted by Ministry of Education in Taiwan.
